The main aim of the CUDES International Congress on Current Debates in Social Sciences is to create a platform for social scientists to discuss current debates in social sciences and to encourage interdisciplinary studies between social scientists. CUDES mainly focuses on providing an alternative debate platform for young researchers.
CUDES, International Congress on Current Debates in Social Sciences has started to be organized by the University of Westminster (United Kingdom) with the collaboration of Kocaeli University (Turkey) and Silesian University in Opava (Czech Republic) in 2010. The First International Congress of Current Debates in Social Sciences (CUDES) was held in London, United Kingdom as a joint event. After the conference, Globalization, Religion & Development book is published by IJOPEC Publication. The second CUDES was held in Karvina Czech Republic in 2011, the third one was held in Kocaeli at Kocaeli University, with the theme of Research Methods in Social Sciences as a workshop format. Fourth and fifth CUDES is organized in Kocaeli at Kocaeli University for discussing current debates in social sciences. University of Belgrade (Serbia) joined the congress organization, in the sixth & seventh congress. 8., 9., and 10. CUDES is organized by the University of Westminster (United Kingdom), Altınbaş University (Turkey), Batman University (Turkey), VUZF University (Bulgaria), Near East University (Cyprus), and the University of Belgrade (Serbia). Sakarya University joined 11.th CUDES 2020 Congress as an organizer. Beykoz University joined the 12th CUDES in 2021 and in 2022, 13th CUDES Congress hosted by Bayekoz University in Istanbul. In 2023, Georgian Technical University joined the 14th CUDES Congress and hosted it in Tbilisi, Georgia. Grigol Robakidze University (Batumi, Georgia) became a partner of the congress in 2024.
CUDES 2024 is organized by Grigol Robakidze University (Batumi, Georgia), Universidad Autónoma de Zacatecas (Mexico), Kırklareli University (Turkey), Georgian Technical University (Georgia), Beykoz University (Turkey), VUZF University (Bulgaria), University of Belgrade (Serbia), and supported by IJOPEC Publication and CUDES Journal (United Kingdom).

CUDES is open to all social sciences fields. 15. CUDES 2024: International Congress on Current Debates in Social Sciences will be held in Batumi, Georgia, at the Grigol Robakidze University Campus on 7-8 September 2024.

PUBLICATION POSSIBILITIES
All accepted abstracts and FULL PAPERS (Max.7 PAGES, SUBMITTING NOT OBLIGATORY) will be published as an e-book (With ISBN and Editor) before the congress in English. The deadline for proceeding book is the 1st of September 2024. Please send it to info@currentdeates.org.
Sending a full paper is NOT obligatory. Full papers can be written in Turkish or English.
All full papers after the referee’s process will be published in edited international books by IJOPEC Publication till the end of October 2024 (For edited books) or/and CUDES Journal (cudesjournal.com), according to the editor’s decision (CUDES Journal would be published as a special issue in December 2024 or regular issue in March 2025), will be published with 30 articles.
BEST PAPER AWARD
The best paper award will be given to submitted full papers (oral & virtual presentations) by the scientific committee for each social sciences discipline.
VIRTUAL PRESENTATION
CUDES encourages active participation in the congress, researchers who are unable to attend the conference in person due to funding issues concerning travel expenses and working conditions may participate with a virtual presentation.
CUDES is open to all current debates on social sciences topics. Please fill out the form and submit a 300-350 word abstract at the website by the 25 th of August, 2024. If you have any submitting problems please contact us at info@currentdebates.org
